The Champ is back in the UFC. Reports state that Randy Couture has reached a settlement with the UFC and will be returning on a 3 fight contract. He will start it off by defending the UFC Heavyweight title against Brock Lesnar in Las Vegas on November 15th. A lot of people are upset that Randy settled instead of challenging the validity of UFC fighter contracts, but in the end Randy had to decide whats the best choice for him and his family. I think the UFC had solid arguments in there breach of contract lawsuit against the Natural also. It didn’t take much to see that it seemed Randy’s retirement attempt was a means to get to the Fedor fight.

I for one will be happy to see Captain America back in action. Brock Lesnar better be on his game. Couture always comes with a game plan, and he is very adapt to executing it. Pure Athleticism, is one thing that Lesnar brings to the table that Randy better consider. Brock is probably stronger and faster then any other natural heavyweight out there.

I don’t see why Randy should have to chase Fedor for a fight. The UFC is currently the best MMA show around and Randy’s the Champ. If Fedor wants to take it to the next level he needs to stop messing about and hammer out a deal to get it done. Even if he doesn’t fight Randy everyone wants to see him fight the UFC’s best. In my opinion Randy has tried everything other then career suicide to make this fight.
